NEVER SETTLE
The Dominican Republic has a funny way of feeling like a video game you can’t lose. Beyond the obvious (electric blue water and palm trees that dance bachata in the wind), it always provides exactly what you need, right when you need it.
One night — like most nights — I didn’t want to be in the house. Especially towards the end of my time in a place, I get the hurried urge to document everything to the last drop.
I decided to drive around and see if there was anything fun to take photos of. Fun can mean be so many things there. That night, I ended up enveloped in various forms of vaporized smoke while four very lively games of dominoes were played around me. Pretty gnarly music videos on in the background. Everything was blue.
